Mobile App Development
Prior to becoming the full-time Product Manager for KARL Technologies, I contributed to the development of our AngularJs Web App & Mobile iOS & Android apps built on the Ionic framework. Both consumed the Google Maps, Stripe, Paypal APIs, a PHP Backend & MySQL database.
implementing scrum & product management
Startups are unpredictable, and often I had to wear multiple hats. I quickly identified our teams' ineffectiveness and took the initiative to take on a role of a facilitator to improve our communication efforts. After a few weeks, I discovered that I would be more effective if I could lead the Product Development Life Cycle and act as the Scrum Master. Being able to convince the CEO, COO, and CTO to buy into an Agile Framework and have me be in charge of leading the implementation with the design and engineering team was my first proud accomplishment in my tech career.
PRODUCT LAUNCH & ITERATIONS
KARL software launched three applications. A SaaS admin dashboard, Driver and Passenger apps on iOS and Android. Our clients begin to sign up and inquire about the services across the world. France, England, Norway, Germany, Switzerland, Brazil, South Africa, and the USA. With a growing user base came feedback and iteration, product improvements and features. I continued to manage the backlog and development sprints while creating the knowledge base documentation to help our clients get started.
